I search for the shadow of the one I knew, Only to find fading memories of laughter and joy. So I take a breathe and fall down deep, Where the searching stops and instead, goes within. To look inside this mending heart, And feel at peace with my own love

That place where your mind goes quiet, Your heart beats slower, The ocean grows louder. Peaceful, Raw, Honest. On a single breath, Just for a moment, You are completely on your own. With yourself, Looking in, Now tell me, Do you love what you see?

A different beauty

I’ve been told there is beauty in my scars. In my honesty. In my truth. I’ve been told I am strong and brave. An inspiration. But all I want is for the scars to stop burning deeper into my skin, For it feels like one more will break me to the point of no return.

You’re like mercury.. Slipping through my fingers, imposible to catch. So shiny and attractive, mesmerizing. Poisonous. Eres mercurio, Deslizándote entre mis dedos, Imposible de agarrar. Tan brillante y atractivo. Fascinante. Venenoso.
